The Bushmills project began with a clear creative vision: to capture the raw authenticity of Northern Ireland while elevating it into something cinematic and enduring. Circo Visual created a detailed treatment spanning location, casting and technical approach, followed by a multi-day shoot on location to capture real plates and photographic elements. Grounding the work in reality was essential, ensuring every image felt rooted in place, not constructed from it.

From there, AI was used as an extension of the creative process, expanding scenes, generating variations and refining compositions in close collaboration with the creative team. Through an intensive process of iteration and curation, we arrived at a final set of images that balance scale with subtlety: epic in feeling, yet entirely believable. This approach carried through into motion, where stills were evolved into short films using a hybrid workflow of AI, live action and post production, seamlessly connecting concept through to final execution.
